Management

Mark joined Formula Vee Qld in 2020 and joined the committee in 2022 as Category Manager. In 2023 he was elected as President and has had his term extended into 2026                                                                                                                                                                                                                              .

Tim has a long history in working on Formula Vee cars but only joined the club in 2020. This is his fourth year serving as Vice President on the committee.                                                                                                                                     

Bruce joined the FVAQ in 2004 and has remained a member ever since. He is now our longest standing member and in 2026 was awarded Life Membership status.. He has been the Treasurer since 2005 and is also the longest standing committee member.                                    

David joined the club in 2016 and has previously served on the committee as President, Vice President, Secretary and Category Manager. 2026 is David’s 9th year on the committee and 3rd consecutive year as Secretary                                                                                             

Ed is a relative newcomer to FVAQ having only joined in 2021. He started on the comittee as Category Manager in 2023 and has been doing such a great job that he has been re-elected every year since in the same position.                                                                                                                                                                                                  .

Chris started racing with us in 2025 and was awarded the Rookie of the Year Trophy. 2026 is his first year on the commitee and we look forward to his enthusuastic input.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    .

John has provided technical oversight for the club since the dinosaurs walked the earth. In 2023 he was awarded  Life Membership for his services to the club. There are many, many drivers who thought their weekend was finished early but were helped back onto the track by John.
